We decorated a paper bunny and glued it to a craft stick for a puppet
Extra activities:
We talked about the letter "B" the sound it makes and other words that start with "B"
Bunny
Here is a bunny with ears so funny
(make a fist and then extend index and middle finger)
And here is a hole in the ground
(make a hole with other fist)
When a noise he hears, he pricks up his ears
(extend 2 fingers straight upward)
And hops into his hole in the ground
(jump fingers into hole in other fist)
10 Little Bunnies
1 little, 2 little, 3 little bunnies, 4 little, 5 little, six little bunnies, 7 little, 8 little, nine little bunnies, 10 little
bunnies hopping up and down.
Then we counted backwards from 10 to 1
