Up in the Apple Tree
Way up high in the apple tree (reach arms up high)
two little apples were looking at me (circle eyes with thumbs and index fingers)
I shook that tree as hard as I could (pretend to shake tree)
down came the apples (bring arms from high to low)
and mmmmm were they good! (rub tummy)

Apple Roll Chant
Five little apples in the bowl (hold up five fingers)
one fell out and started to roll (rotate fists)
it bumped the table & hit my feet (clap hands)
how many apples left to eat? (shrug shoulders)
(count down to zero apples)

Five little nails, standing straight and steady (hold up five fingers)
here I come with my hammer ready! (hold up fist)
bam, bam, bam! (pounding motion with fisted hand)
that nail goes down. Now there are four nails to pound.
(hold up 4 fingers and continue countdown to 0)
