Extra activities
We talked about bike safety (like wearing a helmet, wearing bright colors so you can be seen, don't wear loose clothing and tie your shoelaces tight (so they don't get caught in the wheels/bike chain) and check your bike to be sure your brakes work and your tires have air.
We took a quiz about bike safety (questions listed below)
TRUE or FALSE
1) You should wear a bike helmet every time you ride a bike
2) Bike injuries can send kids to the hospital
3) It's OK to wear sandals or flip-flops when you ride a bike
4) Hand signals help keep you safe when you ride a bike
We played a transportation guessing game
