December 23, 2015 Story Time - Santa

For our craft we glued a picture of santa's beard to a craft stick and covered it with cotton balls.
We also made a santa lunch bag puppet like the one found here:

Five Little Christmas Cookies
(hold up five fingers then take one away as directed by poem)
5 little Christmas cookies on a plate by the door
one was eaten and then there were four
4 little Christmas cookies gazing up at me
one was eaten and then there were three
3 little Christmas cookies enough for me and you
one was eaten and then there were two
2 little Christmas cookies sitting in the sun
one was eaten and then there was one
1 little Christmas cookie better grab it fast
as you can see the others surely didn't last!

Old St. Nicholas had a tree

and on that tree he had some horns

one swam off, and then there was one
one perky penguin said, "this is no fun!"
