For our craft we made a bagel bird feeder. We spread Crisco on a bagel then dipped it into bird seed. Our bagel had a piece of yard tied on so it could be hung outside
Extra activities
Five Little Birdies
Five little birdies flying around our door
the blue one flew away
and then there were four
four little birdies sitting in a tree
the yellow one flew away
and then there were three
the little birdies didn't know what to do
so the red one flew away
and then there were two
two little birdies sitting in the sun
the brown one flew away
and then there was one
the little green birdie felt so all alone
it flew away
and then there was none
later on that very day
five little birdies came back to play!

Fun Facts About Teeth
Dogs have 42 teeth
cats have 30 teeth
pigs have 44 teeth
adults have 32 teeth
armadillos have as many as 104 teeth!
Some animals dig with their teeth, like wild pigs. They dig with their tusks, which are actually canine teeth
Walruses use their tusks to anchor themselves in the ice while they sleep
Sharks have an unlimited supply of teeth. If one tooth falls out, a tooth from another layer takes its place. A shark may shed as many as 50,000 teeth in a lifetime!

Five little pennies rolled in the door
one was spent and now there are four
four little pennies belong to me

three little pennies put in my shoe
one bought a toy and now there are two
two little pennies sitting on my thumb
one fell off and now there is one
one little penny hot from the sun
I picked it up and now there are none!
